In many cases, there are items overlooked or omitted by the insurance adjuster in the original claim. This could be anything from incorrect counting of shingles, overlooking pipe jacks and painted roof vents to missing drip edge and code upgrades. These missing items will need to be completed to get the job done correctly. A new estimate will need to be written and submitted to the insurance company for approval.

We write Xactimate and Symbility
How the Process Works
Step 1
Claim Info
We will need the scope of work from the carrier along with any other supporting documentation and the inspection pictures or pictures from the roof build
Step 2
Claim Review
Each Claim will be reviewed to ensure the carrier has the correct pricing and hasn’t missed any items. In the case the carrier has paid correctly and a supplement isn’t need, there will not be a charge
Step 3
Supplement scope
Nowadays carriers have the choice for claims to be written in Xactimate or Symbility. We will write the supplement in either Xacatimate for Symbility. (We recommend write the supplements in the same software as the carrier has written) Once the supplements have been written they will upload to your CRM software or emailed for approved.
Once approved the supplements will be emailed to the carrier.
Step 4
Following up
We will contact the carrier two to three times a week to ensure the adjuster is reviewing the supplements.
Once we have spoken with the adjuster, a notification will be sent to you.
Step 5
Final scope
Once the carrier has agreed to the supplement, most times they will email us a copy of the revised scope.
